Sales - Training Agent, Lanier County
Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance offers insurance tailored to support Georgia's agriculture industry and communities. As a full-time, commission-based position, you'll be responsible for selling and servicing a variety of insurance products, including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental policies.

This role requires adherence to strategic and service goals, aligning with organizational objectives and delivering high-quality service. You'll consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions. Prospecting new customers and growing membership through community networking is also essential.
Responsibilities
- Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental
- Meet quarterly sales and retention goals
- Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans
- Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
- Possess strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Proactively prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking
- Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions
- Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement
- Engage in continuous professional development and product training
- Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED
- Some college education preferred
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
