About the role
Sell and service a variety of insurance products, meet sales and retention goals, and adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans. Consult with clients, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions. Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking. Ensure accurate policy documentation and service requirements. Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions. Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement. Engage in continuous professional development and product training. Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
- Valid Georgia driver’s license
- Passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
