The role requires meeting quarterly sales and retention goals, aligning with strategic goals, and providing high-quality service. Responsibilities also include prospecting new customers, inspecting properties to assess risk, and engaging in continuous professional development.
Responsibilities
- Sell and service a wide range of insurance products.
- Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans.
- Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions.
- Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking.
- Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately.
- Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions.
- Promote Georgia Farm Bureau and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement.
- Engage in continuous professional development and product training.
- Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license.
- Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required).
- Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow.
