About the role

Sell and service a variety of insurance products, meet sales and retention goals, and align with organizational objectives. Consult with clients, prospect new customers, and promote GFB and GFBMIC through community involvement and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Sell and service a wide range of insurance products including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental
• Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans
• Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
• Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license and pass the Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams
• Engage in continuous professional development and product training
• Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
• Some college education preferred
• A valid Georgia driver’s license
• Pass the Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
• Actively pursue licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
• Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow
