Sales Trainee - Brooklyn, NY

About the role

This is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager position. The role supports sales initiatives and provides route coverage for the ASM during vacation, sickness, injury, or special projects. The Sales Trainee works with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising, and operations for all large and small format “off premise” stores, servicing customers safely, productively, and professionally in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.

Responsibilities

• Training: Participate in the training program; upon successful completion and certification, eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager roles; if no ASM or qualified role is available and performance standards are met, may remain in the ST role up to 12 months (or until a role opens), with a possible 6‑month extension based on continued high performance, no open roles, and certification completion; the role is at‑will.
• Business Acumen: Learn the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand and products; build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper product rotation; set proper brand flow per Red Bull standards; establish and maintain friendly, professional customer relationships to increase sales.
• Daily Preparation: Obtain all tools (insights, displays, Point of Sale, Pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan; communicate daily priorities with ASMs/DSMs; train with ASMs.
• In‑Route Support: Execute Global Strategy for In‑Store Execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) & Perfect Store Audit (PSA); cover ASM routes as needed; meet daily KPI focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
• Off‑Route Support: Assist the team with audits, blitzes, building displays, merchandising to drive sales; perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid US Driver’s License and obtainment of DOT Medical card
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
• Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
• English proficiency; additional languages an advantage

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $19.38 to $29.08 per hour.
