Sales Trainee (Beer Sales)

Responsibilities

• Promote and merchandise award-winning Anheuser-Busch, Craft, Import, Seltzer, and Spirits portfolios
• Support current local Sales Team members in stocking, promoting, and other duties to sell our portfolio
• Develop and maintain effective customer relations to promote company goodwill
• Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information, and other requests
• Cover sales routes, building relationships with account owners
• Maintain product rotation and proper codes to ensure freshness
• Execute brand displays and promotional materials at key accounts
• Support promotions in accounts as directed by Area Sales Manager
• Maintain a regular support schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area
• Perform physical tasks such as using hand and foot controls for driving, walking, climbing stairs, two-handed lifting, handling and carrying cases, pushing and pulling a hand truck, squatting, kneeling, and bending

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a preferred emphasis in a business or marketing-related field or equivalent experience
• Sales and customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to work independently and as part of a team
• Enthusiastic, high-energy, and self-motivated individual with a desire to succeed
• Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of legal requirements regarding the sale and delivery of alcoholic beverages
• Able to lift, move, and place cases of product weighing up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
