About the role

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is seeking a Full-Time Sales Team Lead (Liquor Store Clerk 2) at its Fine Wine & Good Spirits (FW&GS) Store in Mount Joy. This position offers a dynamic, customer-focused retail role with full-time state employment benefits.

Responsibilities

• Shift Leadership: Guide daily store functions and provide training and support to other clerks
• Customer Assistance: Help customers locate products, resolve issues, and explore new options
• Sales Transactions: Operate a computerized cash register, complete sales accurately, and adhere to legal guidelines for alcohol sales
• Daily Reporting: Complete shift reports including accounting, inventory, and cash management
• Stock Management: Unload shipments, stock shelves, build product displays, and lift/move products safely
• Store Readiness: Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming for all customers and staff

Requirements

• Minimum six months as a Liquor Store Clerk 1 or Intermittent Liquor Store Clerk (or equivalent Federal Government job titles)
• Minimum six months of retail sales work experience
• PA residency requirement
