About the role

Join a dynamic team at Esri where innovation meets impact. We are seeking a talented individual to join our GIS development team. This role involves working on cutting-edge projects that utilize advanced geospatial technologies to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test geospatial solutions.
  • Contribute to the enhancement and maintenance of existing GIS applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in geospatial technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in GIS development.
  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and other relevant geospatial technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of geospatial data models and database management systems.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
  • Experience with web development frameworks like React or Angular.

Skills

  • Geospatial analysis and modeling.
  • Software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Database design and management.
  • Web application development.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
