Sales Support Specialist I

About the role

The Business Generation Consultant (BGC) team offers a unique entry-level, inside sales opportunity within the AmTrust sales organization. This position is ideal for a team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can effectively communicate with internal staff and external agents/brokers. Candidates should be outgoing, results-driven, and enjoy cultivating new relationships over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Identify quoted and incomplete submission opportunities.
• Follow up on quoted and incomplete submissions.
• Cross-sell other product lines, such as BOP, Auto, General Liability, Garage, and CPP.
• Track and record follow-up and cross-sell activities.
• Work with agencies and brokers to identify new business opportunities.

Requirements

• Highly self-motivated and competitive.
• Team-oriented and open to development and coaching.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with agents and coworkers.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay

The expected salary range for this role is $23–$28.75 per hour. Salaries are based on factors such as candidate skills, experience, education, training, scope and responsibilities of the role, and market and business considerations.
