Sales Support Specialist
Job Summary
Supermicro's Sales Support team is seeking a dynamic Sales Support Specialist to assist one of our Sales teams in managing customers and their orders. The ideal candidate will provide technical and administrative product information, perform daily clerical tasks, and act as a liaison across internal departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales account maintenance, providing technical and administrative product information, performing daily clerical and office maintenance tasks, such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations, and process documents
- Maintain inventory, follow up on Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) with purchasers
- Act as a liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments
- Assist with intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments
- Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding the status of their orders, facilitate credit issues, and negotiate returns
- Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects
- Produce daily reports for clients
- Be a backup for the supervisor and team members
- Additional duties as requested by supervisors
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 5-7 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and tracking orders
- A self-starter who can effectively work within a strong team culture
- Strong and effective professional communication skills, including written, speaking, and presentation
- Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly, problem-solving skills required
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. The final salary will be determined based on various factors including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees in this role. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and participation in bonus and equity award programs.
