Sales Support Specialist
About the role
As a Sales Support Specialist in Allentown, PA, you will support the sales team by visiting customers independently, collaborating with sales personnel as needed, maintaining customer relationships, addressing specific problems, and ensuring the accuracy of customer and product information. You will manage inventory of industrial gases and hardgoods via phone, provide ongoing customer support by answering questions, tracing order status and shipments, and resolving issues. Additionally, you will prepare analysis, agendas, content, materials, and follow‑up documentation to help sales teams explore client needs during the sales process, solve straightforward problems promptly, and communicate clearly to close the loop on open customer needs.
