Sales Support Representative - Waterworks

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales associates to support customer needs by recommending the best products and solutions.
• Ensure timely and accurate quotations and sales orders for customers.
• Coordinate deliveries on behalf of customers.
• Answer sales calls for general information, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions.
• Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) system and phone system.
• Train and assist in the warehouse, pipe yard, and at the sales counter.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in Waterworks or Construction is a plus.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work.
• Ability to transition between various duties as needed.
• Strong sales skills, including the ability to upsell.
• College or Bachelor’s degree.
• Proven track record of responding quickly to customer needs and making decisions in a timely manner.
• Ability to react well in a fast-paced environment and follow through on commitments.
• Highly motivated and customer service-oriented mentality with ability to build relationships.
• General digital literacy including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to quickly learn product knowledge and processes.

Pay

The starting wage range is $18.71 - $29.92 per hour, with estimated ranges displayed as monthly for salaried roles or hourly for all other roles. This role is bonus or incentive plan eligible. Ferguson complies with all wage regulations and offers competitive benefits.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
