About the role
Provides detailed, high-level support to Regional Sales Representatives and Regional Manager. Acts as a liaison between Sales Team, Customers, and Internal Departments.
Responsibilities
- Maintains ADF Completion for new accounts, new product item numbers, specification changes, price changes, new customer credit applications, and credit reference requests.
- Ensures SOX compliance within respective territory. Provides data and responses for external and internal price audits.
- Manages the Complaint process. Enters all complaints into Salesforce; follows up to ensure timely completion of the investigation and creates a formalized response to customer complaints.
- Administers Index and Market price adjustments within the region, including system updates and correspondence to customers, and maintains customer's mailing lists.
- Responds to customer requests, such as spec sheets, marketing materials, certifications, surveys, and RFIs.
- Investigates customer short pays within the region. Makes corrections to the system to prevent long-term short pays and issues credits when approved.
- Aids territory reps with RFQ preparation.
- Assists with Drop Trailer initiatives within the region and processes drop trailer agreements.
- Attends and participates in Team Meetings.
- Performs various other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in sales, marketing, or customer service.
- Detailed-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task in a highly diversified work environment.
- Strong customer service advocacy and problem-solving skills.
- QAD or Solomon experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office Suite – basic to above-average computer skills including Excel.
- CRM experience preferred - Salesforce (CRM).
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Detail-orientated.
