Sales Support Engineer

About the role

ASI is seeking an Associate Sales Support Engineer to support the sales efforts of OpenWater, iMIS, TopClass, Clowder, and other ASI software solutions. This role involves providing pre-sales support, conducting product demonstrations, and assisting with proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to provide support in pre-sales activities, including demo preparation, answering product-related inquiries, and assisting with RFP responses and proposal development.
• Observe and learn demo techniques and gradually take on more responsibilities in demo presentations and assisting current Sales Support Engineers in demo presentations.
• Conduct practice demos for partners interested in our products, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience that highlights the value and capabilities of OpenWater software and all ASI’s products.
• Aid in the creation and maintenance of product demo videos, particularly in the Consensus platform.
• Meet with clients and prospects to review and discuss specific product functionality questions.
• Maintain demo scripts for OpenWater ASI software solutions as required.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all of ASI’s products, sales policies, and procedures to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and products.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for contributing to team success.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work remotely.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with video editing software.
• Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.

Pay

The compensation for this position is determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to an individual's skills, experience, training, certifications, education, geographic location, business needs, and internal equity. For candidates located in Alexandria, VA or Austin, TX, the current estimated compensation range for this role is $50,000 - $65,000. Compensation may vary for candidates in other locations within the United States.

Schedule

The Associate Sales Support Engineer position is remote and flexible, allowing for a hybrid schedule that combines remote work with occasional in-person meetings.
