About the role
Our store is looking for experienced, hardworking individuals to join our team of Sales Associates in the Seasonal department. Sales associates are responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, maintenance, and restocking in the main store and back storage area(s). The team intercepts phone calls, builds quotes and orders for pickup or delivery, and assists with all customers’ needs as they enter the store.
We're looking for an associate comfortable engaging in face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales while utilizing exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed company sales and margin goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, upkeep, and restocking in the main store and back storage areas
- Intercept phone calls and assist customers in-store
- Build quotes and orders for pickup or delivery
- Engage in face-to-face, phone, and electronic sales
- Utilize exceptional customer service and sales skills to meet or exceed company sales and margin goals
- Understand the marketplace and know product features
- Work to meet prospect customers’ needs through suggestive and upgrade selling, and add-on sales
- Use effective closing techniques
- Follow up on quotes to convert them to orders
- Share expertise with others
Pay
$18 - $21 per hour, with annual performance-based raises.
Schedule
Full-time, 40+ hours per week with a set schedule.
