About the Role
Roadmaster Drivers School, a premier national commercial truck driver training school and subsidiary of Werner Enterprises, Inc., is seeking a highly motivated, professional Admissions Advisor to join our team. This role involves communicating with leads and inquiries to enroll prospective students into our Commercial Truck Driver Training Program, helping individuals improve their lives and income through career training.
Responsibilities
- Make 90 outbound calls per day and 400 outbound calls per week.
- Conduct 4+ applicant interviews per day.
- Complete 4+ student questionnaires and 4+ credit applications per day (20+ per week).
- Achieve 4+ student starts per week.
- Complete, maintain, and submit all required forms for student enrollment using company databases and approved forms.
- Provide honest, accurate, and factual information about the school and industry to determine applicant qualifications, desire, and aptitude.
- Maintain high-quality admission services and a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Follow up with students throughout the enrollment process and ensure they receive necessary support from respective departments.
- Engage with finance, placement, and other departments to resolve enrollment items.
- Maintain contact with students post-start to ensure a quality training experience and improve retention.
- Treat all leads, applicants, students, coworkers, supervisors, and the public with dignity and respect.
- Adhere to all admissions department policies and procedures.
- Cooperate effectively with related departments, including finance, placement, and training.
- Exhibit professionalism, high ethical standards, and teamwork to maximize student enrollments.
- Submit all evaluations, forms, and reports associated with student admissions accurately and on time.
- Perform duties with honesty, objectivity, truthfulness, integrity, and high ethical standards.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, applicant, student, and financial data, even after separation from the company.
- Safeguard and appropriately dispose of personally identifiable information (PII) and other confidential information.
- Ensure regular, reliable, and predictable work attendance.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous sales or admissions experience.
- Salesforce® or CRM experience strongly preferred; basic computer skills required.
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate Roadmaster’s mission, goals, and course offerings.
- Ability to work in a professional office and school environment.
- College degree preferred; minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
- High energy, positive attitude, and passion for overcoming challenges and helping individuals improve their lives through career training.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure as required by applicable state regulations.
- Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and leadership ability to enroll students into Roadmaster’s programs.
- Successful completion of a company-approved pre-employment drug screen (Roadmaster Drivers School is a Drug-Free Workplace).
