How You Make An Impact
Primary responsibility is to grow Ferrotec’s business through product sales. Activities include maintaining relationships with assigned customers, developing new prospects within the assigned territory, and coordinating communications with internal resources to support customer needs. Achievement of objectives must include an overriding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility.
Enable and Drive Change in the Organization
- Educates new customers about Ferrotec’s technology and related products
- Qualifies new opportunities from both technical and business perspectives
- Writes quotes that describe the product and provides pricing/delivery information
- Sets pricing based on customer requirements, cost data, and margin goals
- Captures customer feedback to identify the need for improvement of existing products or development of new items
- Coordinates communication with the customer regarding corrective action and/or product design improvements for failed units
- Generates accurate forecasts of product / volume mix
- Participates in trade shows and follows up sales leads
- Provides input to the Regional Sales Manager, Product Managers, and the Marketing Communications group to support promotional, advertising, and communication strategies
What You Need To Be Successful
- Average of 4-6 years’ experience in a technical field
- Associate's degree or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Preferred skills: Japanese language skill is desired for some product lines
