Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell finished lubricants to new and established customers.
  • Leverage relationships and product/market knowledge to maximize profit margins.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers at existing customers and potential prospects.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline of new opportunities.
  • Possess a proactive approach to prospecting.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
  • Act as an ambassador for the lubricant brands represented by ZXP within the specified geography.
  • Manage incoming sales calls with knowledge and professionalism.
  • Answer technical questions with assistance from sourcing as necessary.
  • Conduct sales calls both in person and over the phone/virtually; some travel required.
  • Collaborate with the Product Market Manager on pricing and marketing initiatives.
  • Absorb and assist with managing late customer payments.
  • Liaise with all departments and customers regarding account changes including billing, sales, and logistics.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in lubricants or related industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
  • Comfortable with travel and flexible working arrangements.
  • Tech-savvy to answer product-related questions with support from sourcing.
