Key Responsibilities
- Sell finished lubricants to new and established customers.
- Leverage relationships and product/market knowledge to maximize profit margins.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for buyers at existing customers and potential prospects.
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline of new opportunities.
- Possess a proactive approach to prospecting.
- Manage multiple customer accounts effectively.
- Act as an ambassador for the lubricant brands represented by ZXP within the specified geography.
- Manage incoming sales calls with knowledge and professionalism.
- Answer technical questions with assistance from sourcing as necessary.
- Conduct sales calls both in person and over the phone/virtually; some travel required.
- Collaborate with the Product Market Manager on pricing and marketing initiatives.
- Absorb and assist with managing late customer payments.
- Liaise with all departments and customers regarding account changes including billing, sales, and logistics.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in lubricants or related industries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and goal-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with travel and flexible working arrangements.
- Tech-savvy to answer product-related questions with support from sourcing.
