About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to support and grow existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities.

This is a relationship-driven B2B sales role with a clear career path into more strategic or senior sales positions within 12–18 months. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and connect them with technical solutions that deliver real value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and internal teams
  • Develop a strong understanding of Welker’s products and technical capabilities
  • Provide solution-based recommendations aligned with customer needs
  • Manage and track sales opportunities from lead to close using ERP system (Oracle JD Edwards)
  • Follow up consistently on quotes, leads, and open opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customer service teams
  • Maintain and exceed individual sales and growth targets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or 4+ years of direct sales experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable engaging with customers via phone, email, and in-person
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general CRM/ERP systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas sales
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical or engineered products
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards or similar)
