- Valid Driver’s License and Sales License.

Responsibilities
- Devote yourself to ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Determine management, production, and quality requirements by asking questions and listening.
- Attend company meetings as required.
- Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow-through with assigned projects.
- Establish personal performance goals consistent with company standards and devise strategies to meet them.

Job-Specific Responsibilities
- Sell vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Coordinate with the sales manager to set and meet new and used sales quotas.
- Meet profit margin goals for vehicle sales.
- Greet customers promptly and maintain a polite, friendly demeanor.
- Follow the outlined sales process consistently.
- Utilize floor time effectively to meet customer needs and solicit sales.
- Determine customer vehicle needs by asking questions and listening.
- Demonstrate and test drive vehicles.
- Verify customer qualifications for wants, needs, and purchasing ability.
- Maintain current knowledge of new products, features, accessories, and their benefits.
- Maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Understand automobile business terminology and stay updated on product technology changes.
- Perform pre-delivery inspection and road test before customer delivery.
- Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand operating features, warranty, and paperwork to foster loyalty.
- Explain equity, values, and depreciation to customers.
- Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly.
- Use a consistent quotation process for purchases, trade-ins, and sales.
- Move and arrange display vehicles on the showroom floor and lot as directed.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and a pleasant attitude to uphold excellent service and satisfaction.
- Know and comply with federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Attend pertinent training and sales meetings to stay current with department concerns and techniques.
