About the role
Join one of the largest privately held aggregate rock companies in the nation as a Sales Representative for the Quad Cities area.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate customer needs and build long-lasting relationships with customers and industry contacts.
- Handle customer inquiries timely and professionally, offering well-thought-out solutions to challenges.
- Selling construction aggregate products and ensuring satisfaction after the sale.
- Work with plant superintendents and customer service associates to assist with overseeing customer service matters at the plants.
- Provide sales projections - discuss sales forecasts, upcoming and current jobs, and inventories with superintendents.
- Utilize computer software such as JWS / APEX Jobfile and ticketing software, as well as Microsoft Office products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and over 5 years outside sales experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree).
- Knowledge of construction aggregates preferred.
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Commitment to a high level of integrity.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and can work well in a team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Qualifications
- Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.
- Ability to continue passing random drug screens required.
