About the role
Full-time inside sales and support position emphasizing sales, account management, and customer support. The Sales Representative serves as the primary customer-facing contact, demonstrating strong organizational, administrative, and inside sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Determine needs and communicate benefits of product, services, features, pricing, and additional offerings to existing and new customers.
- Prospect and generate leads with new and existing accounts.
- Develop ongoing relationships with existing customers and new prospects.
- Learn new product offerings and communicate effectively to customers.
- Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to meet monthly objectives and goals.
- Prepare complete, accurate, and timely paperwork to ensure efficient processing of customer transactions.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all Quest Events markets.
- Represent Quest Events values and business ethics consistently.
- Generate and revise quotes as requested by clients.
- Monitor payment status and requirements for upcoming bookings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between customer and operations team until the job becomes an actual order.
- Assist the operations team and follow up as a secondary point of contact.
- Provide timely confirmations of orders to maximize lead time for the organization.
- Gather layouts and any other information needed for installations.
- Upload all information into the ERP system.
- Maintain a clean and organized office space.
- Log into the account coordinator call queue daily.
- Inform manager when logged out during business hours for unusual reasons.
- Develop strategic working relationships with existing clients for retention and revenue growth.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Event Industry or Hospitality experience.
- Priority given to inside sales or account management experience.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Preferred experience with ERP/CRM programs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional, customer-facing appearance and attitude.
- Strong working knowledge of all products offered by Quest Events.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot.
- Willingness to assist in projects beyond daily scope as needed.
- Strong professional presence, tenacious, and ability to adapt, organize, and multitask.
- Knowledge of CRM maintenance preferred.
- Understands general reporting processes including expenses.
- Works well independently, motivated, with strong relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven with strong planning skills.
- High ethical behavior, unquestionable integrity, and character.
Associates degree or higher preferred.
