About the role
Pure Barre is the national leader in barre fitness with more than 500+ franchise locations in the United States and Canada. We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Sales Representative focused on driving sales and service excellence to grow our community. This role involves daily client interaction to build relationships, provide a positive experience, and successfully guide prospects through the sales process to membership sales. The Sales Representative also assists with retaining current members and delivering unmatched customer service. Boutique fitness knowledge or experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Execute the sales process, including lead generation, follow-up, and closing.
- Conduct facility tours while establishing relationships and identifying individual goals and needs.
- Maintain an acceptable level of personal sales production.
- Emphasize and enforce the studio’s objectives as a fitness and wellness provider.
- Present available services to current or prospective members.
- Book quality appointments to achieve monthly sales quotas.
- Participate in special events (e.g., health fairs, grand openings, marathons, community and hospital events) to promote the studio.
- Develop and refine selling skills.
- Process accurate cash and credit card transactions.
- Follow up with prospective clients to nurture relationships.
- Input inventory for retail clothing and other items.
- Attend and complete all relevant training programs.
- Take pictures for social media platforms.
- Perform light cleaning of the retail area, studio, and restrooms.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills.
- Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of achieving sales in memberships, retail, or private training.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Ability to learn and use the ClubReady software system.
- Strong communication skills in person, via phone, and email.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
