About the role

Mortgages are what we do, but that doesn't define who we are. In 2008, Movement disrupted the industry with the innovative 6-7-1 mortgage process. In 2023, we pioneered again, helping launch Impact Lending – a new category of lending. Any mortgage lender that commits at least 10% of its profits to helping the neighborhoods it serves is an Impact Lender. At Movement, we are Impact Lenders. We give 40%-50% of our profits to making an impact in our communities.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic development and execution of marketing opportunities and projects
  • Employ marketing analytic techniques to gather data (social media, web analytics, internal data etc.) as well as analyze the effectiveness of current marketing methods; and procedures and develop new methods and procedures
  • Able to approach new people and situations with ease in order to build strong client relationships, including networking with lenders and law firms throughout North Carolina
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks and communication with internal staff to ensure the functionality, performance and implementation of all marketing activities
  • Organize promotional events, including traditional, digital campaigns, and social media outlets
  • Presents self in a professional manner and have the ability to interact with all levels of internal business and outside clients
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and written, to facilitate business development
  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
  • Strong time management skills
  • Understanding of business and marketing concepts and knowing how to apply them
  • Team player
  • Comprehension and communication to all parties regarding marketing principles
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with a varied audience, including other staff members, professional clients, and outside parties

Qualifications

  • The expected salary range for this position is between: $20,000.00 - $40,000.00
  • The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
  • The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
