Responsibilities
- Develop new business and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Achieve sales growth in-line with stated overall sales goals.
- Analyze account base to identify opportunities and discuss product needs through a relationship-based selling approach.
- Maintain account KPIs and use effective and current point-of-sale materials.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations to customers.
- Work with national account team for program compliance.
Product & Industry Knowledge
- Stay current and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of wine varietals and international wines in addition to all M.S. Walker products.
- Educate customer and account staff on priority brands by administering educational staff training seminars.
- Remain informed of company/supplier activities and updates by attending, and actively participating in, weekly sales meetings.
Collaboration & Team
- Contribute to team effort in accomplishing goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information such as selling strategies or marketing information.
- Work with management to achieve company objectives and individual goals.
Learn & Develop
- Successfully engage in and complete a paid 2-4 week in-field training and immersion program to integrate and learn the MSW sales process and product offerings.
- Engage in continuous self-education and professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fine wine/spirits wholesale, distribution, and/or importing with established client relationships.
- Superior wine and spirits knowledge.
- Effective self and time management skills.
- Goal oriented, strong work ethic, positive mental attitude, and a team player.
- Outstanding relationship building and selling skills.
- Excellent organization, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, reach overhead and lift up to 45lbs.
- Valid driver’s license required.

Pay
The salary is commission based with an earnings range of $70,000-$130,000.
