About the role
Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is currently seeking a Sales Representative for a remote role. Candidates must currently reside within a 120-mile radius of Midland, TX or Odessa, TX. The position is eligible for a variable incentive program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Regional Operating Plan (ROP) focusing on growth from buying agent activities, channel conversions, specification influence, and NPI opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a territory sales plan to obtain a greater share of market by obtaining orders for existing and new Crouse-Hinds/B-Line products.
- Create demand for Crouse-Hinds/B-Line products with potential and assigned accounts, including industrial, electrical contractor, constructor, architect/engineer, and government clients.
- Plan and allocate time for sales activities with each distributor, major account, and major job based on sales potential.
- Maintain adequate records to control selling activities, expenses, and ensure proper care of all Crouse-Hinds/B-Line property assigned.
- Be familiar with competitor’s products and prices, and continuously increase knowledge of Crouse-Hinds/B-Line products and their application advantages to customer needs.
- Conduct user investigations, train, provide support to Crouse-Hinds/B-Line Sales teams and focused distributors.
Qualifications
- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of one (1) year of sales experience in the electrical industry, or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the electrical industry.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Technical Sales from an accredited institution, experience selling into electrical or heavy industrial markets, experience in industrial and/or commercial product sales, seven (7) years of related sales experience.
