About the role
The Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of company equipment and systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair various types of electronic and mechanical equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on company equipment
- Document work performed and communicate with customers regarding service status
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in a technical support role
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience with common diagnostic tools and software
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles
- Basic understanding of computer hardware and networking
