About the role
The Sales Representative will meet sales goals and build profitable sales within an assigned territory, primarily through phone-based consultative selling. You’ll develop long-term customer partnerships, evaluate account needs, and negotiate to secure commitments. Success requires a self-starter mindset, a passion for customer service, and strong negotiation skills. You’ll grow the business, spot new opportunities, and work within a small, experienced team to maximize revenue and profit.
Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and maintain a network of new and existing customers.
- Build and sustain strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication.
- Provide outstanding customer support and exceed expectations.
- Understand basic business financials: sales margins, payment options, credit accounts, and pricing.
- Turn prospects into customers and manage accounts to hit sales and profit targets.
- Complete tasks and follow up on commitments by agreed deadlines.
- Solve problems efficiently and use time productively.
- Present key product benefits and thrive in a target-driven culture.
- Research the market, collect customer feedback, and record information accurately.
- Develop innovative ideas and proposals.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (required).
- 2–3 years of business development experience.
- Beauty or chemical industry background preferred.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Warm, personable, and trustworthy approach with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage customer relationships effectively.
- Highly developed customer-facing skills and efficient territory management.
- Willingness to travel 30% of the time.
- Ability to relocate to Tampa, FL 33624 before starting work (required).

Pay
$21.00 per hour + commission and bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. In-person work location in Tampa, FL.
