About the Role
Brookfield Residential, a leading North American land developer and homebuilder for over 65 years, is seeking a Sales Representative to support the Sales team in meeting sales and settlement goals for our communities in Ponder, Raleigh, NC. This position requires weekend and evening working hours.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales and settlement goals as defined by the Director of Sales.
- Guide purchasers through the full homebuying journey—from initial sale through settlement and beyond.
- Provide weekly updates to buyers on the status of their home throughout the process.
- Implement and execute a sales plan for the assigned community.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and Newstar Sales systems.
- Follow up with prospective buyers daily, weekly, and monthly through phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Build relationships with relocation companies, real estate professionals, and local businesses through outreach, presentations, and referrals.
- Ensure the professional appearance of the sales office, model homes, and community spaces by working with cleaners, landscapers, and service vendors.
- Attend bi-weekly sales meetings at the corporate office, as well as other required work-related meetings.
- Submit weekly reports, including sales tracking via Tally, community logs, sales-construction meeting notes, and additional documentation as requested.
- Maintain general knowledge of the homebuilding market and competitor activity within the assigned community.
- Foster a professional and inclusive environment by treating all individuals with fairness and respect.
- Adhere to Fair Housing Laws and the guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, including the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successful sales and/or delivery of high-quality customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, organized, and self-motivated individual.
- Capable of developing strong client relationships.
- Administrative experience is a plus.
- Computer/technologically savvy.
