Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and develop new General Agencies aligned with Allied’s growth strategy
- Expand production and engagement within existing General Agencies by identifying growth opportunities and removing barriers to success
- Deliver ongoing sales training, field coaching, and strategic guidance to improve agent effectiveness and close ratios
- Serve as a trusted partner by providing consultative insights, market intelligence, and performance feedback
- Represent Allied professionally at agency meetings, regional events, and industry conferences
- Consistently achieve or exceed production, growth, and agency development goals
- Track agency performance, pipeline activity, and market trends to guide strategic decisions
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics
- Provide feedback to leadership on product positioning, agency needs, and growth opportunities
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree in business related field preferred
- Proven sales leadership experience in the insurance industry needed, preferably within general agency or distribution models
- Strong knowledge of group-based products and consultative sales strategies required
- Demonstrated success with recruiting, developing, and growing agencies or agent networks
- Able to travel up to 50% to support agency growth and field engagement
- Experience analyzing production data, agency performance, and market trends to drive growth strategies
- A background in working with multi-level distribution or managing large agency relationships is preferred
- Holding a Life and Health license is a preferred requirement
