Sales Reporting & Analysis Analyst

Key responsibilities

• Calculate Sales Returns and Allowances, Gross Profit, Price Volume Variances, and Royalties on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Perform analytics and develop insight used to build financial models.
• Streamline the gross-to-net reporting process through increased automation, including use of Alteryx, and leverage visualization techniques to drive financial insights.
• Analyze actual versus forecasted financial results. Provide variance analysis highlighting key business drivers as required.
• Prepare product/customer profitability analysis, including but not limited to, by customer and by product reporting.
• Aid local leadership with financial analysis for special projects.
• Serve as a resource for internal and external audit requests.
• Assist in implementing and testing new systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

  Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 0-4 years of experience.
  • Advanced technical skills with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and strong system skills, preferably Hyperion and SAP.
  • Strong finance/accounting technical knowledge.
  • Strong business relationship building skills.
  • Ability to identify business risks and opportunities and present recommendations clearly.
  • Advanced skills in developing financial models, reporting and variance analysis.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence to interact with all levels of personnel.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and advanced analytical skills.

  Pay

  $41,000 - $93,000

  Schedule

  The role may have remote flexibility. Preference is for the role to be based in Morgantown, WV or from a location on the East Coast of the US.
