About the role

General Beverage Sales Co. (GB) is a family‑owned, business‑to‑business wholesale distributor of wine, distilled spirits, beer, soda, bottled water and non‑alcoholic beverages operating in all 72 counties of Wisconsin. General Beer Northwest, a leading beer distributor covering 14 counties in Northwest WI, is seeking a professional Sales Relief Consultant for the Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls market area. The Sales Relief Consultant supports the sales team by stocking shelves, building displays, rotating products, and preparing for a future Sales Consultant role through available training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts assigned for the week’s schedule.
• Stock, fill, and merchandise all coolers, shelves, and displays at assigned accounts.
• Build, merchandise, and sign displays, ensuring proper point‑of‑sale usage.
• Utilize point‑of‑sale materials in highly visible locations.
• Maintain proper product rotation at every serviced account.
• Assist with account resets as directed by the manager.
• Deliver products upon management request.
• Provide open route coverage as needed.
• Learn, utilize, and maintain General Beer technology and related software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Associate degree in a related field preferred or equivalent professional work experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and a working vehicle.
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lb multiple times per day.
• Strong work ethic with accurate and efficient task completion.
• Effective communication with sales team and customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Decision‑making and problem‑solving skills combined with strong time‑management abilities.

Pay

Starting wage of $46,000 annually, plus commission‑based earnings.
