About the Role

The Family Service Counselor assists client families by making cemetery arrangements at need and selling pre-need plans. They serve as the primary contact for families, providing personalized service, building trust, and ensuring satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, and networking
• Build and maintain relationships with families by listening, communicating honestly, and offering tailored solutions
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, ensuring seamless service delivery
• Collaborate with team members to provide high-quality, continuous support from at need to aftercare

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years of college or experience preferred
• Customer service or sales experience advantageous
• Valid driver’s license; insurance license if legally required
• Strong communication, empathy, and computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and drive frequently
• Must pass company certification and maintain a professional demeanor

Pay

The position offers a target annual range of $50,000 to $100,000, with potential earnings exceeding $150,000 based on performance and sales achievements. The role pays at least $15 per hour for all hours worked.
