About the role
Anyone with customer service experience, including servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, flight attendants, and others in similar roles, can be successful selling furniture at Rooms To Go. We provide essential tools like the best advertising, financing, and delivery services.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers
- Uncover customer's home furnishing needs
- Generate sales through a consultative approach
- Build rapport with customers through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills
- Earn customers' trust through honest conversations
- Encourage additional products to complete the room
- Work as part of a team to meet sales goals
- Explain financing and protection plans
- Demonstrate product value and benefits that meet customer needs
Requirements
- Team player, driven, and motivated to succeed
- Great listener with a positive attitude and outgoing personality
- 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (training provided for the right candidate)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to use current electronic devices like tablets and touch screens
- Willing and able to work flexible retail hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
