About the role
Anyone with experience in a service role, such as servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, and flight attendants, can be successful selling furniture at Rooms To Go.
Responsibilities
- Greet and engage customers
- Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them make their design vision a reality
- Generate sales through a consultative approach
- Build rapport with customers through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills
- Earn customers' business through honest conversation filled with integrity
- Encourage additional products to complete the room
- Work as a team to achieve sales goals
- Explain financing and protection plans
- Demonstrate product value and explain benefits that fulfill the customer's needs
Requirements
- Team player, driven, and motivated to succeed
- Great listener with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality
- 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (will train the right candidate)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Average pay ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year based on commission and position location.
Schedule
