About the role

Anyone with customer service experience, including servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, flight attendants, and others in similar roles, can be successful selling furniture at Rooms To Go.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Uncover customer's home furnishing needs to help them realize their design vision
• Generate sales through a consultative approach
• Build rapport with customers through strong interpersonal skills and excellent listening skills
• Earn customers' business through honest conversations filled with integrity
• Encourage additional products to complete the room
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate product value and explain benefits fulfilling the customer's needs

Requirements

• Team player, driven, and motivated to succeed
• Great listener with a positive attitude and an outgoing personality
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred, but not required (training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to use current electronic devices like tablets and touch screens
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay

Average pay ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year based on commission and position location.

Schedule

Flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
