About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. This position involves a variety of selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service
• Ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers
• Replenishes product on shelves as required according to merchandising guidelines
• Maintains product expertise through ongoing training
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves
• Restocks merchandise as needed
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies
• Fulfills all company policies and procedures
• Provides exceptional service by identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change to customers
• Effective communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with management, coworkers, and customers
• Proficiency in operating a computerized Point of Sale register system
