About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise with care, and providing necessary information and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Supports world-class customer service
• Ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers
• Replenishes product on shelves as required
• Maintains pricing and signs
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves
• Restocks merchandise as needed
• Keeps work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies
• Fulfills all company policies and procedures
• Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions
• Identifies and evaluates customers' needs
• Makes product recommendations based on this analysis
• Promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
• Communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and other associates
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers
• Operate computerized Point of Sale register system
