About the role

The Sales Outfitter plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers. This position involves greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing necessary information and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service.
• Ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Demonstrates product knowledge to customers.
• Replenishes product on shelves according to Merchandising guidelines.
• Maintains product expertise through ongoing training.
• Remains knowledgeable about advertised sales and maintains accurate pricing and signage.
• Aids in seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restocks merchandise as needed.
• Keeps work area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Fulfills all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Provides exceptional customer service by assisting customers in making informed buying decisions through identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Knowledgeable of product and company policies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including standing, walking, communicating, lifting up to 100 pounds, and operating machinery and power tools.
