Sales Outfitter Archery - Part-Time

About the Role

The Sales Outfitter - Archery performs various selling and customer service activities, including greeting customers, handling merchandise, and providing product information and assistance.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
• Demonstrate products to customers and remain a product expert through ongoing training.
• Replenish and restock product on shelves following merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of advertised sales, pricing, and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and providing product recommendations.
• Promote programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate discounts and make change.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Experience operating computerized Point of Sale register systems.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
• Occasionally repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operate machinery, power tools, or motor vehicles.
• Light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; may occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces or noisy environments.
