Overview
The Sales Operations Strategist is a critical member of the Sales Operations team, focused on leading high-impact strategic projects and leveraging advanced sales analytics to drive organizational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Execute Sales Operations projects end-to-end, including process mapping, journey decomposition, workflow design, and operational readiness activities such as pilot design, experiment frameworks, and frontline adoption strategies.
- Analyze sales and contact center performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities; perform qualitative and quantitative root cause analysis to diagnose and resolve performance gaps.
- Deliver standardized and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Thoughtspot, Hex, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce (SFDC), and other BI tools; apply SQL and advanced Excel/Google Sheets models to support daily and weekly performance cycles.
- Audit CRM and sales system workflows, assess agent behavior and adherence, and design and document workflows for inbound/outbound sales motions, contact routing, and telephony processes.
- Develop and maintain SOPs and operational documentation; facilitate cross-functional workshops, conduct requirement gathering, and translate business needs into technical specifications for technology partners.
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to drive alignment, resolve issues, and improve coordination across the sales to CX handoff.
- Identify operational risks, design process measurement frameworks, and build efficiency models that evaluate workflow effectiveness and agent effort.
- Serve as an embedded subject matter expert within day-to-day sales operations, supporting leaders and frontline teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a related field, with a track record of leading operational projects and driving process improvements in high-growth or high-volume environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in process mapping, journey decomposition, and workflow design for high-velocity sales and contact center operations, including inbound/outbound motions and telephony analysis.
- Strong background in cross-functional requirement gathering, CRM workflow auditing, SOP design, operational readiness planning, and change governance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data modeling; intermediate to advanced SQL skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (Thoughtspot, Hex, Salesforce SFDC).
- Skilled in cross-functional facilitation, optimizing marketing to sales and sales to CX handoffs, and translating business requirements for technical teams.

Pay
The salary range for this role is ($96,000 - $153,600). Actual compensation offered will depend on several factors including but not limited to: geographic location, work experience, education, skill level, and/or other business and organizational needs.
