Sales Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

About the role

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc., an Oshkosh Company, is committed to serving everyday heroes and is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of refuse truck bodies. McNeilus produces a complete line of high-performance rear load, front load, and automated side load refuse bodies to augment any refuse collection fleet. The Sales Operations Intern will administratively support the sales team with fleet customers and dealer network, preparing reports, maintaining sales data, and performing other administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain weekly status reports monitoring fleet and dealer orders.
• Communicate with the Sales team regarding updates and timing of orders.
• Assist with monthly and annual sales forecasting.
• Assist the sales operations team with database management and continuous improvement efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Student working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or a Business-related field for the entire duration of the internship.

Standout Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or greater.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Strong verbal presentation and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $37.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
