About the Role
The Sales Operations Data Scientist is driven by curiosity, looking beyond the "what" to determine the "why" to predict future behavior and identify opportunities for accelerating business. Through cross-functional partnership, the Data Scientist will determine the questions to ask and how to deliver the analysis in an easily digestible, actionable way. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data extraction, data cleaning, statistics, modeling, and data visualization. This role will be 100% remote in the US, supporting US core business hours.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and maintain the KPIs that measure product health, user engagement, and marketplace performance.
- Analyze customer behavior, product usage patterns, and marketplace dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
- Translate complex data into actionable recommendations for product and leadership teams.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to optimize data accessibility and quality to support high-quality growth.
- Help foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement within the commercial team.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of the data used for analysis and reporting.
- Develop and automate recurring reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from internal and external sources.
- Monitor and optimize data architecture and quality with a continuous focus on process improvement.
- Implement data governance, security, and quality controls across all data pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering, or related field. An advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Data Scientist or related field (analytics).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, particularly in marketing, finance, HR, and sales.
- Familiarity with the medical device or healthcare industry is strongly preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Scala, Java).

- Proficiency in statistical analysis using commonly available languages (e.g., R, Python) including predictive modeling.
- Experience in ETL and Azure cloud server experience and/or Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, concisely, and impactfully across diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

The actual base pay is dependent on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, market data, skills, geographic location, and business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for equity.
