Sales Operations Associate
Position Summary
The Sales Operations Associate will enable the sales team to achieve new business goals by continuously improving sales infrastructure and processes. They will support individuals with sales goals, monitor productivity, and assist with coaching and training.
Responsibilities
- Enable business development team and MarshBerry consultants to achieve new business goals through continuous improvement of sales infrastructure and processes.
- Support individuals with sales goals by managing pipeline, business plans, lead generation, and forecasting.
- Maintain productivity and capacity of team members and propose adjustments as needed.
- Assist with coaching and developing individuals with sales goals and recommend training opportunities.
- Ensure the right performance metrics are in place and develop regular reporting and dashboards to track progress.
- Affirm data integrity and accuracy in Salesforce and collaborate with the Salesforce Operations Team to enhance the system.
- Partner with marketing and other teams to align lead management, thought leadership efforts, and continual improvement of lead quality and conversion.
- Develop marketing strategies and materials that align with service delivery strategies, and assist with external and internal branding execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
- Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Selection Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or related fields.
- Related professional designations and licenses are preferred.
- 3-5+ years of sales operations, business analytics, or related experience, preferably within investment banking or financial services.
- Strong analytics experience using Excel and BI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other software.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Maintains confidentiality of proprietary information and client information.
- Positive and professional, able to show consideration for and maintain good working relations with co-workers and remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
- Ability to travel occasionally (10-15%).
