Job Summary

VARITE is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst 3 in Lehi, UT. This role is a hybrid position (3 days onsite), with a contract duration of 12 months (with possible extension). The pay rate ranges from $35 - $40.90/hr. on a W2 basis. Work authorization is required for only USC or GC holders.

What You'll Do

  • Help structure profitable and compliant transactions addressing the needs of internal corporate customers.
  • Maximize ****'s revenue and increase the effectiveness and productivity of the North America Digital Marketing Sales force.
  • Manage the deal approval process, including deal structuring and accelerating deal closures.
  • Meet with sales teams to identify critical business issues and assist in structuring transactions that meet both ****'s and the Customer's needs.
  • Communicate via documented business cases with cross-functional stakeholders to articulate deal value consistently.
  • Draft and certify customer contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to and compliance with policy and procedures.
  • Interact with internal stakeholders, including Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Finance, Revenue Assurance, Business Units, Order Management, Credit, and other functions.
  • Regularly communicate with sales teams to ensure consistent application of process and policy.
  • Ensure transactions adhere to ****'s internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines.
  • Prepare in-quarter deal status and communication to management.
  • Evaluate current processes and offer recommendations for areas of improvement.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk.
  • Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support.
  • Proficiency in software revenue recognition accounting, SOP 97-2, and related.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
