Sales Operations Administrator
Primary Function
The Sales Operations Administrator is responsible for executing the below defined Personal Duties and Responsibilities, and for assisting in the day-to-day tasks and activities of the Sales Operations Department, while maintaining a strong focus on the internal/external customer experience. This role will focus on the administrative tasks and assignments to facilitate our customers, sales reps, and sales leadership team’s back-office needs, allowing for positive customer experience and company growth.
Responsibilities
- Preparation, issuance, and maintenance of wholesale builder/contractor programs and rebates in conjunction with various sales team personnel.
- Monthly report preparation and distribution of commission statements and support documentation
- Monthly sales report preparation and distribution to our Manufacturers Representatives and Internal customers
- Primary contact for customer transfers with the IT department
- Split commission reconciliation
- Monthly auditing of customer claim backs
- Maintenance of claim back database
- Prepares credits for final authorization and issuance
- Work in conjunction with the customer service department and IT to assist with EDI orders placed by customers such as pricing, model, and set up issues.
- E-Commerce customer set-ups and IMAP point person.
- IMAP/Price Scraping – direct contact with Wiser. Weekly distribution of retail pricing report.
- Other duties and responsibilities, yet to be defined by the Senior Manager – Business Operations, may be added/deleted at a future time.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of general business experience using Excel on a daily basis (testing for Excel competency may be required)
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred
- Experience in sales support or customer service role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Above average proficiency in Excel (certifications or advanced education strongly preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Basic Oracle understanding is preferred but not required
