Sales & Operational Planning Leader
Responsibilities
- Supports and facilitates the S&OP process within a 24-month horizon at the site, including scenario planning and synthesis of data to support the demand, supply, recon and exec review cycles.
- Facilitates planning discussions to gain consensus among functions and stakeholders.
- Drives full utilization of ERP system (SAP) capabilities to automate supply chain activities and reporting.
- Produces periodic S&OP reports including but not limited to long-term capacity plans, utilization, resource constraints, etc.
- Maintains a production plan to support a production schedule to support the identification of material, asset, and manpower requirements.
- Maintains the S&OP/ planning master data integrity in support of cross functional tools and systems.
- Facilitates the process matching demand and supply, as well as adjust plan/schedule to match availability of resources.
- Optimizes Capacity Plan to support the S&OP (24-month) and longer-term business planning. Identifies excess/shortage of capacity/manpower for various functions to take actions in advance to address potential production and customer delivery issues.
- Proposes different scenarios/Trade-Offs at recon/exec reviews to facilitate decision making regarding capacity allocation among projects and projects.
- Ensures forecasts are captured, aligned within capacity, and reviewed in Supply response meetings to optimize capacity/ revenue as required.
- Responsible for capacity planning ensuring all demand signals are incorporated while working collaboratively with cross functional teams.
- Ensures risk, contingency, and countermeasure plan to meet the OTIF and Financial commitments.
- Provides insight and reports into capacity utilization, demand/ supply gaps, risk to execution, and scenario/ contingency planning.
- Drives ideation with partner functions to optimize delivery, productivity, and cost.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, operations planning, or similar field.
- Experience with SAP and other ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and supply chain best practices.
