About the role

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, seeks a Sales & Marketing Assistant for Legends Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. The ideal candidate will assist the Sales and Marketing team in promoting the venues and events at the Legends Managed Complex.

Responsibilities

  • Track convention sales leads through the Convention Visitors Bureau Online Calendar System and input into Legends Booking system
  • Input all other incoming sales leads into the Legends Booking system
  • Research Exhibitors in conjunction with convention calendar sales leads
  • Auxiliary in writing copy for marketing collateral, reports, and newsletters
  • Create and update sales collateral, presentations, and other related materials
  • Maintain competitive rates and contacts in the hospitality industry
  • Schedule monthly in-house training for Legend’s catering and security partners
  • Auxiliary in grassroots marketing efforts to increase ticket sales
  • Auxiliary in creating and implementing social media marketing strategies
  • Auxiliary in generating email marketing reports, social media reports, and marketing plans
  • Auxiliary in tracking traffic and providing Google Analytics reports
  • Auxiliary in television monitoring and reporting
  • Auxiliary in updating suite signage and promotional items
  • Auxiliary in preparing and submitting expense reports
  • Perform special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative, marketing, or communications experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task with ease

Qualifications

  • Successfully passed a criminal background check
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Photoshop and/or InDesign experience preferred
