Sales Manager - Sarasota

CoolToday is looking for a Regional Director of Sales to champion and train the sales process for a growing division, overseeing all four CoolToday locations across the region.

About the role

This position requires a passion for selling, training, coaching, and leading by example while meeting service levels. You will develop sales training materials, lead sales classes, recruit and retain sales technicians, and manage key financial objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in selling residential HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Plumbing, and Electrical systems.
• Develop sales training materials for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical departments.
• Create and lead sales classes with groups of 12-15 Technicians.
• Recruit, train, and retain Sales Technicians.
• Motivate, manage, and discipline Technicians.
• Review and approve Technician time and payroll.
• Manage key financial objectives (gross profit, operating profit, etc.).
• Address customer complaints related to field operations.
• Oversee all subcontract charges and material charges.
• Ensure adherence to all TDLR and Texas Plumbing Board governances.
• Perform any other duties as required by the management team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience training HVAC Technicians to sell residential HVAC systems.
• Plumbing license required.
• Class B HVAC Contractors License preferred (a plus).
• NATE certification a plus.
• Bi-lingual with English and Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of fleet dispatch and logistics is a plus.
• Electrical license preferred.
