As a Part Time Sales Manager, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll congratulate new parents and grandparents, introduce our baby essentials, and help prep for all the big and little moments in their parenting journey. Responsibilities
- Become a product and brand expert to help families navigate every moment from preemie to size 14
- Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits
- Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
- Model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others to success
- Lead and execute an assigned business focus area through planning and follow-through
- Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities, driving results and resolving customer concerns
- Utilize customer feedback to identify areas of opportunity and implement actions to drive results
- Build customer loyalty through Company-sponsored programs, including credit offers
- Provide consistent, in-the-moment feedback to the store team and escalate performance concerns to the Store Manager
- Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
- Support the store team with Asset Protection through customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls
Requirements
- A positive and solutions-oriented mindset
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
- Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, web navigation, etc.)
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods; climb up and down a ladder
- Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
